3 Great Ways to Disguise Your Plasma TV

May 22, 2017 By Debbie Palic

A plasma screen no longer needs to be a distraction from your beautiful decor, here are 3 ways to disguise it.

1. TV Mirrors

In this contemporary lounge room a TV mirror has been used to blend the TV effortlessly into the room. This works well  as the mirror has a modern frame which tie’s in with the rooms styling. When the TV is not in use the TV is hidden behind a decorative mirror. When the TV is turned on the mirror is transformed into a TV. TV mirrors can be used in all areas of your home where you want the convenience of watching a screen and don’t wish for the TV to dominate the room.

2.  TV Art Covers

Another great way to hide your flat screen is behind a framed, motorised canvas artwork. With the press of a button the TV is revealed for you’re viewing. Your selected artwork or photograph will enhance the feel of your room unlike a large TV screen which can be distracting.

A cheaper but less convenient option would be to attach L-shaped brackets to the back of your canvas as this will enable you to attach the art to the TV screen. When you wish to watch TV you can manually remove the artwork to view the TV.

3. Use Sliding Panels

If you are planning to have an entertainment unit custom designed for you, consider having sliding panels to hide your flat screen. Sliding doors will make your space feel streamlined and contemporary.
